I'm delighted to be able to pass on my knowledge and experience to netminders of all abilities.

The GAA goalkeeping role has evolved massively in the past few years, and who knows where it will end! It is vitally important that the modern GAA keeper has the confidence and ability to perform their primary role as a GK and offer the outlet of being an 'extra' outfielder as and when required.

The demands on consistency of retaining possession from kick outs and being the focal point of starting attacks.

This also adds to the pressures of the GK's roles. Unsurprisingly, the keeper is now regarded as the most important player on the pitch!

I'm excited about the future, and I look forward to supporting and guiding young and advanced goalkeepers in their journey to improve and progress.
